1. Introduction

The Roblox Broadcasting Corporation ("RBC", "we", "our", or "us") respects the privacy of our users and is committed to protecting personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines our data collection, use, processing, and disclosure practices in relation to our digital properties, including but not limited to RBC Radio, its streaming content, and integrated third-party platforms.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect and process the following categories of information:

3. How We Use Information

Information collected is used for purposes including:

4. Discord and Roblox Data Integration

When using our services that are integrated with Discord bots or our website systems, usernames and request messages may be temporarily stored in logs for processing. This data is used strictly for in-stream fulfillment and is not retained longer than necessary for system operation.

4A. Discord Bot Moderation and Message Content Intent

Our Discord bot uses the Message Content Intent to process submissions made through the /request command. This access is necessary to read the content of messages users provide in their request so we can perform automated moderation checks.

Specifically, message content is scanned in real-time to detect and block profanity, spam, unsafe links, Discord mentions, or slurs. This ensures that no harmful or disruptive content is relayed through our systems or webhook integrations.

Additionally, the bot temporarily fetches the user's Discord username to display alongside their request (e.g., "Who sent this request") for the purpose of attribution and responsible moderation. This information is not stored persistently and is only retained for the duration necessary to fulfill the feature.

This use of Message Content Intent is limited strictly to moderation and functionality of the /request command, and is never used for advertising, profiling, or AI model training.

5. Use of Cookies and Third-Party Trackers

We employ both session and persistent cookies for analytical and advertising purposes on the main website "RBC Radio". These include third-party services and technologies provided by:

When accessing our audio streams via HLS (HTTP Live Streaming), MP3, or similar protocols, and when those streams are monetized, data such as device info, IP address, and location (country, state, city/region) is transmitted to these partners for the purpose of serving you targeted advertisements.

Session behavior, such as listening time and interaction patterns, may be correlated with tracking cookies to ensure relevant ad delivery and for performance measurement.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

We rely on legitimate interest and user consent (where applicable) to process personal data. In certain regions, such as the European Union, users may be prompted for explicit consent where required under GDPR.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users in this age group without verifiable parental consent, in accordance with COPPA.

8. Data Retention

RBC does not store user information longer than operationally necessary. Most identifiers and metadata are deleted within minutes to hours following their functional use unless required for compliance, security, or technical audits.

9. Data Sharing & International Transfers

Data may be processed on servers located in the United States and other jurisdictions. By using our services, you consent to the transfer and storage of your data across these locations. RBC does not sell user data. Data may be shared with trusted processors and infrastructure providers only to the extent required for service delivery.

10. Changes to This Policy

RBC may revise this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be published to this page with a revised “Effective Date.” Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
